4 Game Guarantee
The Texas 20 is a series of events run in both DFW and Houston. 3 Conference Play weekends to determine seeding for the Texas 20 State Tournament. Teams must play in 2 of the 3 Conference Play weekends to be eligible for the State Tournament.
Facility Rules and Expectations:
Cotton Sports Ranch is a Turf Field, and Gene Campbell has Turf mounds and batters box's...NO METAL SPIKES, SUNFLOWER SEEDS, OR SHELLED NUTS of any kind are permitted within Cotton Sports Ranch or Gene Campbell at any time. This applies to parents as well as players and coaches. Any spectator, or participant, in violation of these policies may be asked to leave. We are blessed with the opportunity to use these facilities and your cooperation with the above policies helps us greatly. Spikes are permitted at Rothwood.
Pitching Rules:
13U-14U:
Daily Max: 95 (Pitchers may finish the hitter if they enter an at-bat with less than 95 pitches but must exit the mound immediately upon completion of the at-bat)
1-30 Pitches = 0 Day(s) Rest (Finish the hitter rules DO NOT apply)
31-45 Pitches = 1 Days Rest (Finish the hitter rules DO NOT apply)
46-60 Pitches = 2 Days Rest (Finish the hitter rules DO NOT apply)
61-75 Pitches = 3 Days Rest (Finish the hitter rules DO NOT apply)
76+ = 4 Days Rest (Finish the hitter rules DO NOT apply)
In the event of multiple games in a single day, a player may pitch in a maximum of two games that day. The number of pitches they can throw in game two is determined by the daily max minus the number of pitches they threw in game one.
